Neutral official postcard imprinted with "Postkarte" in Latin script. About the imprint in black ink is the hstmp slogan 'Verpackt FELDPOSTPACK-CHEN gut und dauerhaft" (Pack army packages well and sturdily!) The card is addressed to a relative in Prague and was written in the extermination camp Birkenau (sub camp of Auschwitz) 8 January 1944 and postmarked in Berlin. Most of the stamp and a portion of cancellation have been removed.
