1943-44 SET OF ROMANIAN JEWISH REGISTRATION WORK IDs AND REGULAR VOTER ID CARD Very rare set of Jewish Registration Work IDs and a Voter's ID card issued by the Kingdom of Romania during WWII to Sigmund Mendelsohn, a businessman and banker, Romanian citizen of Jewish ethnicity, living and working in Bucharest. The 1943 Work Waiver ID is hand signed in blue ink by Radu Lecca, Commissar General for the Jewish Affairs. 4 items in all
COLLECTION OF HOLOCAUST / JUDAICA mostly ephemera but some with philatelic (fiscal) documents. There is a lot of correspondence from Buchenwald concentration camp, and a property receipt from the commandant of the camp. It is basically the life story of Jankel Gottfried, including passport, references for employment, certificate from Rabbi in Vienna, Ketubah, and much more.
