TALMUD TORAH ETZ-CHAIM”. 1912. short term debt note for 3 gold napoleons, dated 25 Kislev 5672, to be paid by the bearer on 1 Sivan 5672 (less than 6 months). in Hebrew, Yiddish, and German, signed by three officials including Rabbi Yizhak Eliezer Charlap, has the handstamp of the yeshiva and two “paid” stamps as well.

BELGIUM RELIGIOUS ECOLE PIONEER ATISANALE DU BAHAD French TRAINING and Hebrew letterhead of RELIGIOUS BRITH ARTISAN & AGRICULTURE TRAINING SCHOOL Manuscript message in Hebrew to the Jewish Agency, Jerusalem in regard to 14 year old Jehudith and 8 year old Schmuel Weiss, just arrived from Germany. The entire Weiss family went from Germany to visit the mother’s parents in Czechoslovakia (and apparently stated there). During the war, the mother was transported to Germany, survived and just returned to Palestine, nothing is known in regard to the father (he did not survive).
