This is a circular for a voyage to Switzerland. The text, in French, describes the tour and the fees. It was printed by the Swiss Railroad company. 19 JE (JUNE) ARMY P.O. AP1 1941 postmark ties an Egyptian 5 mil and a Greek 20 cent stamp. An Australian 1 penny stamp is tied by a BASE PO B.W.1.postmark of 22 JE (JUNE) 41 A 2 mill and an 8 mil Pictorials are tied by a second strike of the same postmark. A “PASSED BY CENSOR 281” handstamp ties a censor label inscribed OPENED BY CENSOR. It is ARMY FORM W. 3424/6. The printing information is at the bottom. Nearby, are a triangular PASSED BY CENSOR UNIT NO 3482 and a (somewhat obscured) AUS PO 32 of 24 JU 41. Another censor triangle (NO 3235) is partially obscured by an AUSTRALIAN COMFORTS FUND label. There are three such labels. The address was Australian Soldiers Aut / Jerusalem / Palestine. This was crossed out and TRY GAZA added. Looking at the back, there are two censor handstamps – like the one on the front. One, numbered 516, ties the censor label. There is also one with number 471.
